Max Miller

During his painting performance, Max Miller will create a painting in his characteristic style on aluminium composite panels using colours that are suitable for indoor use and are health-friendly. Anyone who wants to can follow the so-called "work in progress" live and observe the creation of the work or talk to the artist during a coffee break in the atrium.
About the artist Max Miller
The calligraffiti artist Max Miller, whose real name is Maximilian Immisch, was born in Hanover in 1992. He is a full-time tattoo artist and has been running his own tattoo workshop in Hanover-Hemmingen for several years. The self-taught artist also creates graffiti on request on various substrates of ideally large format. On this he can really get going and go into full swing with acrylic and spray paint.
Calligraffiti - three art forms merge
Miller uses calligraffiti in his works, an art form that is composed of calligraphy, typography and graffiti. In his sometimes, but not always symmetrical compositions, abstract elements gradually grow into an ornamentation whose characters are reminiscent of Far Eastern lettering. Miller's style does not go back to specific models; on the contrary, he does not submit to any guidelines or rules in his works and thus creates a kind of "own brand". Miller prefers to work in black and white, because then the perspective effect is most intense, but blue, gold and other colours are also occasionally used.
Miller will be creating his painting especially for HDI on 29 November from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the side entrance next to the table tennis table. Come along and watch him paint - if you like, you can take a look at his Instagram account max.miller.tattoo as an appetiser.
