The Talanx Group’s capital management activities aim to ensure an optimised, risk-adequate capital structure that maintains the Group’s financial strength. The goals are to optimise capital efficiency at Group companies and to meet the Group’s and Talanx AG’s liquidity and capital requirements.
Talanx does this by optimising its capital structure using a mix of equity instruments, equity substitutes and other financing instruments. It is Talanx’s clear ambition at a minimum to meet the requirements for a “AA” rating under Standard & Poor’s capital model.
