The Talanx Group aims to make a contribution to achieving affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy. To do this it is investing specifically in renewable energy sources such as wind farms and solar thermal plants, and in expanding the related power grids.
In total, the Group has made funds of over EUR 2 billion available for investment. In addition to furnishing the funds required, the Group also provides the necessary insurance cover for the plants and grids. This applies to both established and innovative technologies such as hydrogen.
