International diversification, Germany-wide unity

Talanx is strengthening its presence in the insurer’s strategic target region of Latin America. The Chilean subsidiary company HDI Seguros and state-owned bank BancoEstado have signed an exclusive agreement for the coming 13 years covering the sale of non-life insurance products.

Talanx is strengthening its Latin American business by acquiring Generali Colombia Seguros Generales S.A. and its subsidiary Generali Colombia Vida Compañia de Seguros S.A. The Group is thus entering the Colombian insurance market and expanding its successful and focused presence in the strategic target region of Latin America.

The HDI Group under the Talanx umbrella is simplifying its operational structures in Germany. The streamlining is intended to significantly accelerate decisions on major issues for the future such as digitalisation or collaboration within the Group.
