Member of the Management Board of Talanx AG
Caroline Schlienkamp, born 1974, has been a member of the Management Board of Talanx AG since May 2022. As Director of Labour Relations, she is responsible for Group People & Culture as well as the central functions Business Organisation, Data Protection, Corporate Services, Legal/Compliance and Procurement & Supplier Management.
The lawyer has made a career in the Group: After starting out in Corporate & Specialty Liability Sales department and then working in the Legal department, she rose to become Head of Group Legal and took part in the Talanx Excellence Programme in 2019. The programme prepares successful top executives in the Group for their next career step. In the programme, she developed the Talanx Purpose ”Together we take care of the unexpected and foster entrepreneurship”. In 2021, she became a member of the Board of Management, initially for HDI AG with responsibility for Corporate Services and Procurement & Supplier Management. One year later, she became the first female member of the Talanx AG Management Board.
In her area of responsibility, the Group has bundled some of the key governance and central functions, including Human Resources, at the Management Board level of Talanx AG. As the Board member responsible for Group People & Culture, Caroline Schlienkamp is driving forward the Group’s cultural transformation – towards a performance culture characterised by transparency, engagement and collaboration, based on trust. Reducing the gap in skilled labour is also one of the key tasks in the coming years.
