The sustainability activities in the Talanx Group are governed by a dedicated governance structure. Both the entire Supervisory Board and its committees, particularly the Finance and Audit Committee and the Management Affairs Committee, deal with sustainability issues within their respective areas of responsibility.
The high importance of sustainability within the Group is underscored by the three sustainability experts on the Supervisory Board:
- Dr. Sandra Reich
- Prof. Dr. Jens Schubert

The entire Board of Management is responsible for the sustainability activities in the Group. Through the two decision-making bodies, the Responsible Underwriting Committee (RUC) and the Responsible Investment Committee (RIC), the strategic integration of sustainability aspects into all core processes is regularly monitored and advanced.
These committees are each led by the Chairman of the Board or the Chief Financial Officer.
