"Inclusion in the index series is a testament to the considerable advances that we have made in our commitment to sustainability. I am therefore delighted that we are now listed in this highly regarded sustainability index", commented Herbert K. Haas, Chief Executive Officer of Talanx AG. "Our inclusion motivates us to keep moving forward along the path that we have already taken."
Talanx is continuously expanding its commitment to sustainability. With this in mind, the Talanx Group is putting in place ESG screening for its investments. Not only that, since 2015 Talanx has published comprehensive information about sustainability issues on an annual basis in a sustainability report drawn up according to the recognised guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
The FTSE4Good Index Series was launched in 2001 by FTSE Russell. It is based on independent ratings compiled by the global index provider, which measures companies according to criteria such as environmental sustainability, human rights, decent working conditions, anti-corruption policies and climate protection.
