Property and Casualty Primary Insurance

The areas of concentration in this business segment are worldwide, professional industrial insurance as well as property and casualty insurance for private customers in promising markets. With our international positioning, we aim for profit-oriented growth. In German business with private individuals and commercial customers we have at our disposal distribution channels that cover virtually the entire market spectrum – a diversity that is virtually unmatched at any other corporate group.
Life Primary Insurance
Innovative sales initiatives ensure growth.
Our Group offers a diverse range of products for the retirement provision of our private customers – tailored to our companies' respective target groups – as well as for occupational retirement provision. Traditional life insurance policies and innovative offerings such as unit-linked products are sold through our own tied agents' organization, through independent brokers and multiple agents, by way of direct sales and in cooperation with banking and postal service partners.
Non-Life Reinsurance
Worldwide reinsurance relationships.
Based on our experience in all lines of non-life reinsurance, we are valued as an unbureaucratic, flexible and innovative alternative to the regional market leaders. In the typically cyclical markets and lines of non-life reinsurance we do not pursue any volume, growth or market share targets, but rely exclusively upon mutually profitable business relationships.
Life and Health Reinsurance

We are present on five continents in this segment. As one of the largest life/health reinsurers in the world, we take a holistic approach – from new business financing to strategic market positioning – to solving the problems faced by our clients, which are predominantly mid-sized life insurers.
Financial Services

The spectrum of products in this – the Talanx Group's youngest – segment ranges from individual investment concepts for private investors to comprehensive asset management solutions for institutional clients.
