With gross premium income of around 21 billion euros for 2009, Talanx Group is the third biggest German insurance group. Talanx operates extremely successfully as a multi-brand provider in highly promising sectors of the insurance and financial services industry. The Group is headed by the financial and management holding company Talanx AG, based in Hannover, Germany.
The brands of the Talanx Group include HDI, HDI-Gerling, Hannover Re, one of the world's leading reinsurers, Targo Versicherungen, PB, Neue Leben and the financial services provider AmpegaGerling. The Hannover-based Group is active in 150 countries. The rating agency Standard & Poor's has given Talanx a financial strength rating of A+/stable (very good).
