Our human resources staff are often asked what they look for most in an application, cover letter and CV. Which is why we’d like to give you some tips here on how to best present yourself.

Please make sure you meet the job specifications.

Do you meet the essential and optional criteria (hard skills: training and experience; soft skills: social skills, communication and working style, etc.) for the particular vacancy, or can you compensate for a lack in one area with alternative experience and qualifications?


Motivation

Clearly state why you are interested in our company.

If you’re inspired by topics from the insurance and financial markets and have a genuine interest in our group of companies, then let us know. Please also tell us how you think your ability to work under pressure and your determination can contribute to the success of our company.

Personality

Tell us about yourself. You could, for instance, include details of situations where you were able to demonstrate your personal strengths with successful results on an additional third page or in your CV. That’ll help us assess how well you’d fit into our team.
